BRAVE AND FREE
September 11th, here we are again,
When we lost so many women and men.
The Twin Towers came crashing down,
and the crash was heard the world 'round.
Fire and ashes and broken lives,
The weapons they brought were box-cutters and knives.
They took airplanes into buildings and ground.
And the crashes were heard the world 'round.
We rose in great numbers to help and to cry.
Why, why, should so many die?
Yet we are stronger than they will ever be;
We are the home of the brave, and the land of the free.
For all our lifetime we will fight
For what is good and what is right;
Let the shouts of love for our country resound.
And let it be heard the world 'round.
