I have been thinking about some things and big changes are a coming to Cassandra’s Florals. One of the things I would like to promote more and do more is RAK’S. You ask yourself what is a RAK? Well a RAK is in the simplest terms and the most convenient definitions: are a means by which we make a deliberate attempt to brighten another person's day by doing something thoughtful, nice, and caring for them. RAK’s are random, generous acts that a person went out of their way to do, expecting nothing in return in terms of recognition or accolades. Kindness is a way of showing others that they count and that even in the face of hostility and selfishness, you're making a stand for world kindness. A RAK can be a selfless act performed by a person, people or community wishing to either assist or cheer up another individual person, people or community. We should always, Practice random kindness, senseless acts of beauty & paying it forward, no matter what time of the year it is.
CASSANDRA’S FLORALS is promoting a brand new page on facebook called CASSANDRA’S FLORALS RAK'S it can be found at… http://www.facebook.com/CassandrasRAK
I just want the content to be beautiful and truly represent what a RAK is. I MOST DEFINITELY WANT PEOPLE TO POST ONLY POSTIVE THINGS ON THIS PAGE!!!! So with that thought I have just a few simple rules so Cassandra's Florals RAK'S can keep a very clean and beautiful page.
1) No posting of photos. Cassandra is the only one allowed to add a photo. (I spend a lot of time picking the look/photos)
2) No foul language ... Keep it Beautiful (No exceptions)
3) No promoting of your business / job unless it’s a group effort to doing a RAK
Example (I just picked up trash off the road w/ a group I work with at smith and smith. it feels so wonderful to give back)
RAK’S ARE CALLED MANY THINGS …"PRACTICE KINDNESS", “PAY IT FORWARD” & “DOING WHAT’S RIGHT” - That's my hope & page slogan....being kind to one another costs NOTHING!!! You could actually make someone's day and maybe even put a "skip in their step" & a “song in their heart”. Wouldn't that make you feel good...I know it would me!! Here are a ton of ideas on how to do a RAK:© Encourage someone
